WALT DISNEY WORLD GOLF

Expansive property consisting of 63 holes of resort and championship golf under the management of Century Golf. The championship golf courses at the Walt Disney World Resort have garnered praise and prestigious awards for their superlative design, impeccable service, world-class amenities and overall playability throughout the years.

Expertly lead a staff of 45+ individuals through the entire operation of all courses; $3.4M budget

 

Successfully rebuilding all protocols to improve organizational structure and course appearance

 

Deliver quality playing conditions required to drive increased rounds/revenue

 

Oversaw the purchase of $1.5M worth of equipment in 2017/2018

 

Improving course features through complete bunker renovation on 18 holes, greens renovation on

9-hole course and partial bunker restoration on another 18-hole course

BISHOPS GATE GOLF CLUB

April 2012 – June 2017

 

An intimate, private golf community nestled on the banks of Little Lake Harris. The redesigned golf course and outstanding practice facility are home to the Bishops Gate Golf Academy, PGA touring professionals, members and residents. The community also includes a marina offering access to Florida’s Chain of Lakes.

Expertly managed complex operation with budget of $850K+ resulting in excellent course   conditions

 

Directly led and oversaw complete redesign of the course worth $3.4M; worked with architect Tim Liddy:

- Built 11 holes of golf utilizing multiple tees and large double greens allowing for play as 18 holes;

  Truly seen by developer as a Practice Facility Development

- Irrigation design by Tony Altum included upgraded TORO Network VP and Lynx central control

 

Integral in the building of a new, state-of-the-art practice facility with $1.2M investment

 

Excellent management of the installation of a $1 million entrance renovation

THE SEA PINES RESORT

October 2005 – March 2012

 

Home to the PGA TOUR’s Verizon Heritage Tournament held at Harbour Town Golf Links. The management teams at the three courses work closely to maintain both Dye gems in superb condition so as to improve upon Golf Digest’s designation as one of the top-ranked Resorts in America.

Scheduled and supervised 27 person crew on 36 holes, includes assistance in $2.2M budget

 

Evaluated and executed arbor management plans to increase plant health of Ultra Dwarf species

 

Oversaw and managed $230K green/tee addition to Heron Point by Pete Dye course in 2009

 

Promoted with the added responsibility of the Ocean Course as well as the Heron Point Course

 

Heavily involved with $10 million reconstruction project of the Heron Point course, completed on-time and within budget, ‘06-‘07

 

Partnered with golf architects, irrigation architects, and project managers to help organize the logistics of this large scale project

 

Supervised installation of Rain Bird irrigation system

TRADITIONS AT STONEHOUSE

Traditions at Stonehouse is a Mike Strantz design that was named the Best New Upscale Course of 1996 by Golf Digest. Its sister course, Traditions at Royal New Kent, received the same honor in 1997 followed by Golf Digest including them in the 100 greatest public courses.

 

Developed chemical programs for greens, tees, fairways, and rough

 

Mastered the art of water management on bentgrass putting surfaces

 

Approved payroll and filed invoices with accounting weekly

 

Worked with Toro SitePro / OSMAC irrigation system

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BETHPAGE STATE PARK

Site of the 2002 and the 2009 U.S. OPEN, the Black Course is an A. W. Tillinghast design and is ranked in Golf Digest’s top 100 golf courses. The Black Course is also currently ranked among the top 10 in the State of New York.
